Abstract

The sun is a source of light energy on the earth's surface. If solar energy is converted into free energy charged within the particles of some materials, electrical energy is produced. These are all organic materials. Organic solar cells (OSCs) have gained widespread attention due to their advantages such as low cost and flexibility. It is semi-transparent, non-toxic, and well-suited for large-scale production. OSCs with high-performance active layer materials, electrodes, and interlayers, as well as novel device architectures, have made significant progress. more specifically, Active layer material innovation, the possibility of obtaining high performance in OSC can be achieved by using highly absorbent materials, polymers are generally used as absorbent layer to induce light absorption efficiency and device performance. The key to achieving highly effective OSC is to design new polymers with a narrow bandgap and appropriate energy level arrangement. Including the carrier layer and the donor layer, we also offer a comprehensive list of the highest efficiencies independently proven solar cells and modules..
