Abstract

Sustainable buildings depend on finding a relationship between the building, the user and the environment to achieve a positive impact on the health of users and residents. To make the interior space of the house more comfortable and luxurious, it must combine sustainability and technology, by providing several criteria, including indoor air quality, lighting quality, thermal comfort, getting rid of pollutants, getting rid of noise and achieving efficient materials and resources.
Sustainability represents the design of interior spaces to preserve the interior environment by using technology and non-polluting and environmentally friendly energy sources. Technology represents the way of thinking and the means that man uses to provide his well-being and adapt nature in his service, through the application of modern science and innovations to human, natural and industrial resources through the maximum extent to achieve speed, accuracy and ease in the implementation of buildings, and the emergence of sustainable urban agglomerations. The good design of the interior space also achieves continuous efficiency in the relationships between the used spaces such as movement paths, building configuration, wind direction, solar radiation, mechanical systems and building technology so that the house becomes distinguished by ease of use, quality of construction and beauty of form.
This research is concerned with explaining the concept of sustainability and how to achieve it by using technology, raw materials, and suitable furniture pieces that make the interior space less energy-consuming, healthy, and environmentally friendly, and achieve the highest degrees of comfort and luxury.
